We have so much fun in this class exploring the complex design of our energy make-up. The wide range of topics covered are meant to bring clarity and understanding to how we function as energetic beings in a sensory world.
Each chakra is broken down into its characteristics to show how it's energetic state effects certain aspects of our behaviors and personalities. If there's an area someone wants to change in their life, correcting the appropriate energy center removes the blocks keeping them from achieving that change. It may be one chakra compromising the free flow of energy through all of the chakras, or it may be multiple ones. Some chakras lack enough energy to support the emotional system energetically connected to them. Some are stuck with energy that needs to be moved or cleared.
An example would be the root chakra which corresponds to the adrenal glands on top of the kidneys. This is our source of energy during activity and especially stressful situations. This could look like working four 12 hour shifts in one week and collapsing on day five. Then day 6 is spent recuperating, catching up on tasks, and hopefully quality time for self-care. This is a deficient chakra needing strengthening.
To increase one's edge from such an attack on the energy it would be prudent to be eating a high nutrient diet, getting regular restorative rest, and staying in a positive state of mind. We explore tools and methods to do this.
I hear your laughter. I laughed too when I was told to "just breath".
As a society we have forgotten how to rest.
It's great to learn to breath again; To remember the pure joy of what nature provides to sustain us and keep us alive.
And we always leave class feeling more alive than when we came.
I hope you will join us.
